Kapchorwa experience - Sipi falls 2nd -6th April, 2026
Kapchorwa District is located approximately 295 kilometres Northeast of Kampala and is 1,800 meters above sea level, approximately 600m above Kampala. Kapchorwa, also known as Home of Friends is a scenic gem, boasting breath-taking landscapes like Sipi Falls, rocks, caves, and nature reserves. The District has become a hub for endurance athletes and cyclists enjoy the same high-altitude training environment, it's the home for world-class long-distance runners, like Stephen Kiprotich, Joshua Cheptegei, Jacob Kiplimo, Peruth Chemutai, etc. who train amidst the majestic slopes of Mount Elgon.
CYCLING EXPERIENCE:
The combination of altitude, terrain, and scenery makes it ideal for both endurance training and adventure Cycling with rolling climbs, winding descents, and spectacular viewpoints over the Karamoja plains. We will ride through coffee farms, local villages, and forested sections of the Mount Elgon National Park.
