Meet with CEO Rwenzori Marathon a head of the 2026 Tusker Light Rwenzori Marathon!!
As preparations intensify for the 2026 Tusker Light Rwenzori Marathon, Fun Cycling Uganda (FCU) held a strategic meeting with the CEO of the Rwenzori Marathon to align plans for this year’s exciting edition of the annual cycling journey to Kasese.
For 2026, FCU will officially set off on 17th August 2026 through Uganda’s breathtaking South Western tourism corridor in what promises to be the most adventurous and inclusive ride yet. Unlike previous editions, this year’s journey comes with a unique tourism twist, opening opportunities for both seasoned cyclists and individuals who simply wish to experience selected sections of the ride and adventure.
Cyclists and adventure lovers will enjoy unforgettable experiences, including cycling through Lake Mburo National Park, visits to Igongo Cultural Centre, the Ankole Palace, Kitagata Hot Springs, the famous Africa-shaped Lake, Korororo Falls, another ride across the park (Queen Elizabeth N.P), Mihunga Gate, and several iconic attractions along the route. The journey will also feature exciting stopovers in major towns and cities for community activations and the electrifying Tusker Light Party experience.
